Case Study
Commissioning Partner: Special Effects International
Location: Hotel Corinthia, grand ballroom
Service: LED display built into a custom set wall
The Challenge
The Ballroom of the Hotel Corinthia is one of Budapest's most elegant event venues. In such an environment, bare technical equipment (stands, cables, black frames) can feel out of place. The concept from the commissioning agency, Special Effects, was an exclusive stage design that combines classic elegance with digital content. The task: a LED display had to be fitted with millimeter precision into a large physical set wall printed with custom graphics, so that it did not "stick out" but formed an integral part of the wall.
The Solution: The "Invisible" Seam
The ADAM team focused on precision construction:
- Hybrid Integration: We were not satisfied with simply placing the display in front of or behind the wall. We physically integrated the LED wall into the printed set, bringing the digital content and static graphics onto a single plane.
- Frameless Experience: The edges of the LED panels were perfectly finished against the cutout of the set, making the projected image (the speakers and presentations) appear as if the wall itself was coming to life.
- Brightness Calibration: Alongside the Corinthia's crystal chandeliers and set lighting, the LED wall's brightness was adjusted to remain contrasting but not blind the cameras and the audience, harmonizing with the room's atmosphere.
Results in Numbers
- 100% integration: Seamless fit between the printed and digital surface.
- Full HD resolution "window" for digital content.
- 4 hours of precision construction to protect the delicate set elements.
Partner Feedback
"The key to our creative concept was that the technology should not dominate the room but blend into the elegant environment. The ADAM Media team executed the vision with engineering precision – the LED wall fit perfectly into the graphics we envisioned."
