Case Study:
BNI Networking Event – The Digital Revolution of the Traditional Press Wall
Client: BNI Hungary
Location: Ensana Hotel
Service: L-shaped LED Press Wall (Corner Configuration)
The Challenge
At premium business meetings, the photo wall (press wall) is the most important marketing surface, as most social media photos are taken here. However, traditional printed banners struggled with two problems:
- Flat and Static: It only looks good when photographed straight on; from the side, it appears "flat" and lifeless.
- Rigid: If the theme or featured sponsor changes during the event, the printed wall cannot be replaced.
- Space Utilization: In group photos, people on the edges often fall outside the background.
The Solution: Digital Corner Configuration
The ADAM team broke with tradition and installed a corner configuration (L-shaped) digital LED wall.
- Three-Dimensional Experience: Thanks to the corner design, participants could "step into" the background. This added depth to the photos and allowed for wider camera angles without revealing the technical setup (cables, stands).
- Dynamic Content: In addition to the static BNI logos shown in the image, the surface was capable of displaying animations or even custom backgrounds that changed per photo (e.g., highlighting a Gold-tier sponsor).
- High Resolution: We used small pixel pitch (P2.6) panels, which are essential for close-up photography, ensuring the background did not "fall apart" but remained razor-sharp in the images.
Results in Numbers
- 15 m² contiguous digital surface (Corner build).
- P2.5 pixel pitch (perfect image quality even when photographed from 2 meters).
- 100% Visibility: Due to the corner arrangement, 30% more people fit into group photos while the branding was still visible behind them.
- 0 minutes changeover time between switching different sponsor logos.
Client Feedback
"The corner arrangement was a brilliant idea. Finally, we didn't have to instruct guests to 'move to the center,' because the wall wrapped around them. The quality of the photos speaks for itself – this was no longer just a backdrop but one of the event's visual features."
