Project: Feature film shoot (Budapest)  

Location: Akvárium Klub, Nagyhall (Erzsébet Square)  

Service: Circular LED wall installation and synchronized content control

The Challenge

The screenplay described an exclusive, modern karaoke bar with a central circular stage where the characters sing surrounded by guests. The Akvárium Klub Nagyhall proved to be an ideal space, but the director's vision required the space to be navigable in 360 degrees. The karaoke lyrics and graphics running on the walls had to react to the music in real time so that the actors could actually sing along while the cameras moved continuously around them.

The Solution: "Digital Wallpaper"

The ADAM team dressed the concert hall with light and image:

• 360-Degree Experience: Several large LED walls were placed along the hall's walls. This "surround projection" allowed the camera to turn in any direction and still see a spectacular, vibrant background, not bare walls.
• Functional Set Design: The displays served as more than just atmospheric elements. The animations and lyrics running on them (e.g., "don't stop believin'" seen in the image) were precisely synchronized with the playback music. The actors did not have to memorize the text; the LED walls functioned as giant teleprompters.
• Lighting with LED: The brightness of the walls provided most of the lighting (base light), creating the authentic "club" atmosphere that would have been difficult to reproduce with post-production coloring.

Results in Numbers

• 3+ independent LED surfaces distributed in the space.
• 360-degree rotatable camera angles.
• 0 seconds delay: the lyrics ran in perfect sync with the music.
