Case Study
Client: Onlife Conference
Location: ELTE Gömb Aula, Budapest
Key Guest: István Kapitány (Global Vice President, Shell)
Service: Ultra-wide, panorama LED wall and stage technology
The Challenge
The ELTE Gömb Aula is one of Budapest's most impressive, yet technically challenging, venues. The massive ceiling height and circular space "swallow up" traditional projection technology. The organizers' goal was for the "Leaders in the Storm" conference to be world-class not only in content but also in visual presentation, worthy of the main guest, István Kapitány.
The challenge was twofold:
- Visibility: Those seated in the back rows must also clearly see the small print in the presentations.
- Imposing Appearance: The stage design had to reflect the event's premium business nature, avoiding the feeling of "empty space" on the large stage.
The Solution: "Full-Evening" Panorama Wall
Instead of the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio, the ADAM Media team built a unique, ultra-wide (panorama) LED wall that covered the entire width of the stage.
- Digital Set: The LED wall functioned not only as a projection screen but also as a digital set. Alongside the presentations, the event's visual identity elements continuously framed the speaker, so the stage never looked empty.
- High Brightness: Counteracting the lights of the Gömb Aula, the high brightness of the LED wall ensured that contrasts remained sharp and the presentation looked perfect in photos/videos.
- Readability: Thanks to the high resolution, graphs and data were crystal clear even from the farthest point of the room.
Results in Numbers
- 12 meters wide digital canvas (Panorama projection).
- 4K+ horizontal resolution for razor-sharp presentations.
- Lossless visual experience for 350+ people (visible from every angle).
- 100% operational reliability: Redundant signal transmission due to the high-profile speakers.
Client Feedback
"When István Kapitány stepped onto the stage, the background didn't suppress his presence but highlighted it. The widescreen projection gave the business presentations a cinematic experience rarely seen at domestic conferences. It was professional work." – Márton Berze
