The Challenge
Starring Eddie Redmayne, The Day of the Jackal is a high-budget international series where visual quality is key. During filming, there were many scenes where the background, monitors, or special lighting effects had to be achieved using LED technology. The challenge was not just the quantity but the reliability: every minute of downtime costs a fortune on such a production. The technology had to function flawlessly for months across various locations.
The Solution: Mass-Produced Precision
ADAM became the technical backbone for the film crew:
- Custom Manufacturing: We didn't just rent; we also manufactured. We created many specially sized and shaped LED displays that were integrated directly into the sets (e.g., control rooms, vehicles, high-tech offices).
- Filming Readiness: Our equipment ran 24 hours a day without failure. Our technicians were constantly on site to immediately respond to director's requests (e.g., changing brightness or color for camera settings).
- Müpa Transformation: At one of the series' key locations, Müpa, we provided the grandiose LED backdrops that completely transformed the concert hall's atmosphere for the scene.
Results in Numbers
- Technical support for the entire season.
- 24/7 availability.
- Dozens of custom devices integrated into the set.
Client Feedback
"On a high-volume international production like this, technical downtime is not an option – every minute costs thousands of dollars. ADAM was not just a supplier but an integral part of the crew: they were available 24 hours a day and manufactured custom LED solutions for the sets that we couldn't have just taken 'off the shelf'. Every pixel in front of the cameras was in place, flicker-free and without compromises." – Art Director – The Day of the Jackal
